The Jacksonville Florida section gets a lot of storm warnings.
There is consistently another hurricane coming. Typically it misses our section by miles and miles. I always don’t vacate. The most recent one totally smoked my arena. Thank goodness I wasn’t there. A tree fell right in the middle of my house. My family room, porch, and home office were all trashed. The water then poured in and created all sorts of disfigurement. I was certainly aggravated with the amount of labor given to me. Insurance only covered so much. I basically got the tree unfastened and the roof patch. The rest was up to me. The water disfigurement was the most significant headache I was dealing with. The moisture was getting in the walls and causing mold. I knew the condo was going to become condemned if I didn’t get on it. Rather than sink a bunch of money into a condo I was never all that affixed to, I decided to just sell it. I wanted to start fresh. I didn’t want to be in a hurricane section anymore. I found a money house buyer in Jax, FL that buys homes fast for money. It was such a relief to be done with this sticky situation. I didn’t need to worry about the water disfigurement, clean up or repairs. They handle everything. I just needed to agree on a price and pack my bags. I left with money in hand and was able to secure another arena. It was so nice to be able to leave that mess.
