Selling a household that has lien issues

I inherited a motel from my Grandmother when she passed.

The motel rooms had all been converted to efficiency apartments.

There were tons of leaseholders in the rooms that were put up by the state. They had mental and drug problems. They were loud, annoyed, and frightening people. I absolutely don’t know how my Grandmother stood being around them. The paperwork involved with those leaseholders was silly too. The state never seemed to spend my money on time. You had to file a bunch of claims, follow up calls, and hound people for money. Then if any harm happened, you were dealing with more calls and paperwork. I hated to evict people that were great there and paying money. I didn’t know if anyone would want to live in an household that small either. It seemed like a lot of work no matter what. I then decided that I just wanted to sell. I found a Florida real estate client that does money deals. I explained the situation. I was selling a commercial household with leaseholders. The leaseholders all had special paperwork and money orders around them. Other than that, the place was good. The money household client was amazing about it. They considered it a win that the place was rented and had steady money. I know they will regret the work that comes with it. I am glad that I don’t have the stress or the fear anymore. I have never been so glad to get rid of something. I now have quite a bit of money from that smoking deal.
